Terms of Service
Last updated: August 17, 2026
These terms cover your use of this website and how our online tools (booking, quotes, the system finder) relate to the actual services we perform at your home. Using the site means you accept them.
1. Who these terms are between
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Veraco Water (“we,” “us”), a water treatment company based in Allentown, Pennsylvania. They govern your use of this website and its online tools (booking, the online estimate, quotes, and the system finder). They do not replace the written home improvement contract you will receive before any paid work is performed — that contract governs the work itself.
2. Website information is general, not a diagnosis
Content on this site — including articles, water problem guides, and the system finder — is provided for general information about water quality in Northeast Pennsylvania. It is not a certified laboratory analysis, engineering advice, or a health recommendation for your specific home. Actual system recommendations are made only after we test your water. Results of any free in-home test are informational screening results, not certified lab results; where certified testing matters (for example, bacteria, lead, or PFAS compliance), we coordinate accredited laboratory testing.
3. Estimates, quotes, and pricing
- Any pricing shown or discussed before an in-home water test and site visit is an estimate only. The online estimate at /get-quote is not a lab report and not the written home-improvement contract.
- Firm pricing is provided in a written, itemized quote and becomes binding only when both you and we sign a written contract.
- Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote.
4. Online booking
Booking a time slot online is a request, not a confirmed appointment, until we confirm it by phone, text, or email. You may cancel or reschedule at no cost using the link in your confirmation or by calling (610) 510-6101.
5. Your rights under Pennsylvania law (HICPA)
We operate as a home improvement contractor under Pennsylvania’s Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act (73 P.S. § 517.1 et seq.). Among other protections, that law provides:
- Registration. Home improvement contractors must register with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General and display their registration number on advertisements, contracts, estimates, and proposals. Our registration status: PA HIC Registration Pending. You can verify any contractor at hicsearch.attorneygeneral.gov.
- Written contracts. Home improvement contracts over $500 must be in writing and contain specific terms, including the contractor’s registration number, a description of the work, and total price.
- Three-day right to cancel. For most home improvement contracts, you have the right to cancel without penalty within three business days of signing. Your written contract will include this notice; nothing on this website waives that right.
6. Acceptable use of the site
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or automated form entries;
- Interfere with the site’s operation or security;
- Copy or scrape substantial portions of the site’s content for republication;
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual property
The Veraco Water name, wordmark, site design, text, and graphics are owned by Veraco Water or its licensors. You may view, print, and share pages for personal, non-commercial use; any other use requires our written permission.
8. Communications
When you provide contact information through the site, we may contact you about your request by phone or email as described in our Privacy Policy. Text messages are customer-care communications (such as appointment confirmations, reminders, and service updates) sent only if you check the optional SMS box on the form (or later opt in by saying so or texting START). VERACO LLC (dba Veraco Water) is the sole sender of these text messages. Message frequency is up to 4 msgs per request. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase, booking, or getting a quote. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile opt-in and consent data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
9. Third-party links and services
The site may link to third-party sites (for example, the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s contractor registry or financing providers). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The website is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties about the website’s uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website itself. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes:
- warranties or remedies stated in a signed service contract;
- rights that cannot be waived under Pennsylvania law, including your rights under HICPA and the Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law;
- liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute about the website will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, unless a signed service contract between us provides otherwise.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
